Financial Systems Auditor

ETONIEN is looking for a well-qualified and motivated Financial Systems Auditor to support our large client in the Calabasas area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with ERP implementation process including system and application modifications as needed
  • Responsible for planning and managing engagements, conducting fieldwork and review of internal controls and processes
  • Develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and evaluation of controls
  • Provide written and verbal communication of results to senior management
  • Identify key risks related to controls as well as opportunities to increase revenues and reduce costs
  • Candidate should have experience with all aspects of risk assessment, internal audit planning and execution, business process flow, internal control design and effectiveness
  • Proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans, identify issues and manage their timely resolution. Track risks and issues in appropriate repositories and ensure their visibility to the people required to resolve them
  • Tracks financial performance of the project, including actual to budget tracking for operating costs and capital costs

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of experience in the areas of, internal audit, internal controls assessment, and/or Sox 404 evaluation and testing
  • CPA or CIA ( Big Four experience preferred)
  • MBA highly desirable
  • Must be proficient with Legacy and have experience with at least one other top-tier ERP platform (i.e. GreatPlains, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Strong Excel Experience—pivots, v-look-up, access data modification
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • A self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to work self efficiently
  • Ability to foster a strong, cohesive working team; providing hands-on support and strong delegation and leadership skills
  • Experienced in managing and planning operational level engagements and projects
  • Exceptional business acumen
