BidnessEtc.com is looking for smart, tech-savvy individuals who love to go against the grain. We are a rapidly-growing digital financial media company comprising financial wizards, musicians, rock stars, artists, singers, aspiring philosophers and tech geeks. We conduct financial analyses and research for a broad audience, which includes Wall Street professionals as well as college graduates looking for professional advice. We are currently seeking interns willing to collaborate and partner with us to help remove information asymmetries from financial markets

Interested applicants should be prepared to take a leadership role and work independently. Selected candidates will work with qualified professionals and ex-hedge fund managers, and finish the internship with broad experience in various aspects of financial research, analysis and reporting. Individuals who show the most promise will be offered the chance to work with us and have their work distributed to a global audience through our platform.

 

Responsibilities

Collect and contribute financial information, including primary research like store traffic levels, dealership inventories, retail trends, etc.

Assist in the distribution of our content to targeted audiences through internet-based resources or in physical form

Create and coordinate with investment groups and clubs, and grow the BidnessEtc.com community by inviting people to share their financial research and analyses with a global audience

Coordinate question and answer sessions, where BidnessEtc.com users can connect with company leaders for their advice on various topics of interest

Provide feedback on how to improve content and the BidnessEtc.com experience

Host events for students and professionals looking to break into the financial community

Update BusinessEtc.com HQ through a teleconferencing session held every week

 

Requirements

We are particularly keen to work with undergraduate students majoring in Finance, Economics, Business, Management or Marketing. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a broad knowledge of how social media works. Familiarity with Word and Excel will be a bonus, and will be considered separately when the best applicants are shortlisted.
