International advertising firm seeks Senior Accountant paying to $80,000.

Description: Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant Job Purpose: to assist the controller in the month-end close process as well as put together the year-end financial statement.

Senior Accountant Job Duties:

• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Analyze monthly flash package reports, P&L reporting
• Liaise with financial business partners for the purpose of answering questions.
• Assist in compiling the year-end financial information for purpose of creating the financial statements, balance sheet, income statement and cash flows statement
• Maintain and update key controls for best practices.
