Technical Finance and Accounting  Professional

ETONIEN is seeking skilled Technical Finance and Accounting Consultant to assist our Clients with internal policies and procedures. Clients include Venture Capital backed high growth companies, Private Equity backed middle market companies, and Fortune 1000 companies.

ETONIEN is a professional services consulting firm focused on project, interim, and interim to hire opportunities within the accounting, finance, tax, audit, and financial systems space.

The ideal professional will have 7+ years of progressive experience, a strong technical accounting background with CPA and/or MBA. Experience within the Software and service industries is highly preferred. Responsibilities

  • Identification and application of technical accounting guidance to client situations
  • Global technical accounting projects including IFRS, foreign currency and consolidations
  • Understand technical accounting background, FASB and SEC rules and regulations, client deadlines and deliverables, requests and preferences to deliver excellent client services
  • Offer technical accounting solutions supported by US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Manage the client relationship to maintain client expectations, scope of services, deadlines and other requirements
  • Assist with complex transactions such as IPOs, M&A, Reverse Mergers, etc.
  • Perform and/or review the following:
    • Detailed revenue analysis and revenue recognition;
    • Equity – stock compensation (FAS 123R, warrant accounting) and EPS;
    • Draft or review complex sets of financial statements with disclosures;
    • SEC Reporting including 10K, 10Q and other filings;

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent required
  • CPA required, with 7+ years of public accounting and industry experience required (minimum of 3 years in public accounting)
  • Hard working, detail oriented and ability to motivate teams
  • Ability to manage successfully complex projects to completion under tight deadlines
  • Proven solid verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven expertise in technical accounting, US GAAP and or IFRS
  • Experience writing complex technical accounting position papers desired
  • Experience and familiarity with technology industries preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
