&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;1.&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Assists Director of Purchasing in monitoring the SPI for idiosyncrasies, inventory issues and other problems; maintains the SPI generation document.&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Conducts quarterly preparation of the SPI to ensure departmental back up and knowledge transfer.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;2.&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Creates and updates purchasing departmental control procedures to ensure guidelines are in place for all major processes.&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Semi-annual reviews of documentation for accuracy and functionality are required.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;7.&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Assists Director of Purchasing with the negotiation and execution of new vendor Supplier Agreements.&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Drafts amendments and riders, as needed, to protect Co&amp;rsquo;s long term supplier requirements.&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Conducts quarterly reviews of active Supplier Agreements for any near term expirations or sections requiring negotiation.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Assist in the preparation of the monthly management reporting package&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in the preparation of quarterly reporting packages for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in the preparation of the Earnings Release, 10Q, 10K and other regulatory reporting&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Prepare monthly consolidation journal entries to record inter-company eliminations&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work closely with investor relations, internal audit, and external audit&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist with audit requests as necessary&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Complete special projects as assigned&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE&lt;/strong&gt; 
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;CPA or MBA preferred&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Minimum 1 to 5 years relevant experience&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Financial services (banking) experience preferred&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is a unique &amp;ldquo;ground-floor&amp;rdquo; opportunity to further develop, implement and manage the firm&amp;rsquo;s successful chemistry, geosciences and IT consulting practice in the Houston, Texas office. The ideal candidate will learn and participate in the firm&amp;rsquo;s existing national chemistry, geosciences and IT consulting practices, actively solicit new clients/projects, and assist in recruiting while leading the management of the Houston operations&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The ideal candidate will be local to the Houston area with existing major contacts in the oil and gas industry within the Houston area.
