Functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team as a Staff Registered Nurse to ensure provision of quality patient care on a daily basis in accordance with FMS policies, procedures, and training. Supports the FMCNA’s mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy.

We currently have a full-time direct hire opportunity as a Dialysis RN in Columbia, SC area working Monday through Friday 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Some Saturdays may also be required.).

The Dialysis RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, giving detailed and personalized patient education and w effective high-quality assessments.

• Implement accurate treatment prescriptions including Sodium (Na) modeling prescription, and Ultrafiltration modeling (where appropriate) to ensure stable treatment therapy as indicated.
• Assess patients’ response to hemodialysis treatment therapy, make appropriate adjustments and modifications to the treatment plan as indicated by the prescribing physician and communicate problems or concerns to the team leader or physician.
• Administer, monitor, and document patient’s response to prescribed intradialytic transfusions, including appropriate notification of adverse reactions to physician and appropriate blood supplier.

Ideal candidates will have the following requirements:
-Minimum of 2,000 hours worked in Dialysis environment within the last 2 years
-Current and unrestricted RN state license
