Job Description

This is a six month contract-to-hire position! Pay to $70/hr.

This opening is for someone who has specialized current expert-level skills as a UI Developer who primarily works in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

•    Expert level skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with common libraries like jQuery, Foundation, Bootstrap in an Agile environment.
•    Experience with Object Oriented JavaScript including MVC, MVVM and MVCS patterns.
•    Experience with unit testing using tools like Jasmine and QUnit.
•    Experience using browser based web developer tools to analyze and optimize UI/JavaScript performance.

Should have experience as a leader/mentor to other UI team members.  Consultants must have outstanding communication skills and a strong desire and aptitude for learning new software and tools. Interview process is a 30 minute phone screen followed by a 60-90 minute final Skype interview.

•    Proven experience implementing responsive design interfaces targeted for tablets and mobile phones.
•    Proven experience building web applications in Python or PHP using frameworks like Django or Zend.
•    Familiarity with JavaScript tools like Require JS, Bower, Grunt, Handlebar and Moustache
•    Familiarity with web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers, caching, CDN, and security).
•    Familiarity with unit testing using tools like Nose, Jasmine and QUnit.
•    Fluency in accessibility, usability, information architecture, and interaction design principles desired.
