Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

ETONIEN is a professional services consulting firm focused on project, interim, and interim to hire opportunities within the accounting, finance, tax, audit, and financial systems space.

Our firm is looking for a well-qualified and motivated FP&A Manager to support our large clients in the San Francisco Area.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling tools
  • Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes and developing procedures and flowcharts to drive efficiencies      
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Consolidate, review and analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and Department heads to assist in the development of strategic financial plans with in-depth analysis supporting those plans and assumptions
  • Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 6+ years relevant experience in Finance or Accounting in a large corporation
  • MBA and/or CPA highly desired
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user capable of database manipulation, model creation, etc.
  • Other system knowledge: Access, NetSuite, etc.
  • Strong financial reporting skills are required
  • Ability to move quickly through vast amounts of data and make relevant management decisions
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
  • Exceptional business acumen with a high degree of integrity and ethics
