Job Description

Major Duties:

• Participate in program-wide and specialty-specific training as indicated.
• Lead five small group tutoring sessions; or one-one mentoring; or student and school coaching activities.
• Provide homework and classroom support in area of specialty as needed.
• Communicate with supervisor on an ongoing basis to build positive relationships at the school site.
• Attend and participate in program meetings, community service events, and other site-specific events.
• Assess students in specialty area to inform instruction and document progress.
• Understand and adhere to all school and program rules.

 

Secondary Duties:

• Understand the value of community in addressing the needs of children in at risk situations.
• Positively interact within large and small group settings.
• Communicate effectively with parents and teachers.
